Kaden tries cereal!

WE TRIED CEREAL!!!! That’s right we attempted to eat cereal. Here is how it went... the spoon enters Kaden’s mouth, cereal is spit out, gagging starts. How dramatic, I wonder where he gets it from?!?!

4th of July road trip

The Chandler’s took a road trip up to Michigan for the 4th of July holiday. We saw a lot of people and had a great time. We stayed with Grandma and Grandpa Blakley-thanks for everything! We did a lot of hanging out on their deck where Kaden watched the birds and chilled out! We also went to our 1st real party on the 4th with Grandma and Grandpa Vance, Aunt Kristy, Uncle John and Cousin Madeline. Kaden was passed around by his adoring fans (friends of my parents)! He loved looking around and being spoiled. Thanks Mr. and Mrs. Bork for your hospitality, we had a fantastic time! We also had a bbq with Great Grandma and Grandpa (GG and Dutchie). I am sure there will be many more road trips!!!

4 Month Update

I am a bad blogger! With me going back to work there has not been a lot of time to do much! I know, no excuses!

STATS: So we went in for our 4 month checkup and got a clean bill of health. Kaden now weighs 14 pounds 9 oz and is 25 inches long. My little baby is turning into a toddler before my eyes! Our doctor said we can start cereal now! I will be sure to take a lot of pictures once the big day is here! She also said he should be sleeping through the night….yeah right!

WHAT WE HAVE BEEN UP TO: Kaden is really starting to develop his personality. He loves to look around and some days I feel like his head may spin in circles because he is looking at everything. He loves his ocean mat. There is an octopus that hangs down and I really think that is his best friend! He lays there and tells his new friend all his problems! He also LOVES to sing along with mom. I know you may be thinking a 4 month old can’t sing yet but he does. I make up songs and he sings (more like hums, screeches, and coos) along. He loves any noise that comes out of his mouth. I will keep you updated with more milestones!
