Yes, by the time Kaden is old enough to officially have a girlfriend I will have a full head of grey hair and my blood pressure will be through the roof!! Kaden's 1st official crush is Abbi.

We are starting early with surf lessons! He watches a surfing cartoon and pretends he is surfing the waves!

Kaden is quite the fan of swimming. He has his own chair that he lounges on and soaks up some rays. He has a tough life!

OHHHHHH BOY do we have a little fisherman on our hands. He LOVES to fish but once he makes the catch, he lets everyone else do his dirty work! He is not a fan of touching them yet!

The new swing set
We finally broke down and bought a swing set. We decided to have it professionally installed since the box stated that it would take 17 hours to put together. Once I read that I thought of Brad in the backyard and Kaden watching his daddy put together his new toy. Then I had a vision of what it would really be like. A lot of swear words, extra parts and 14 days and nights of work! It was the best money we ever spent! :)

Updates
Wow, the past couple months have been full of excitement! Kaden is obviously getting older and has turned into quite the independent toddler. He is very strong willed (like his mommy) and is still such a little lover. His favorite things right now are Buzz Light-year and anything Cars related. He loves to take his cars and drive them around the house pretending they are racing. Now that the weather is getting nicer we have been playing outside more often. We bought a basketball hoop so Brad has been working with him on the right techniques on shooting a ball. It goes more like Brad shoots the ball, misses and Kaden chases after it! Life is full of a new and exciting adventures everyday with him.
I recently changed companies so my time unfortunately has been devoted to studying and traveling. When I was gone traveling earlier this month, Kaden had an accident in school. He and another child were playing with a door and his finger was caught. Brad rushed him to the hospital and they were able to stitch his finger back on. Poor kid had a very traumatic two weeks. He is doing much better now and his finger looks like it will heal just fine. He will have a scar but I am sure he will turn it into some cool story when he gets older!
Summer is around the corner and we could not be more excited. We just purchased a boat (finally after living on the water for more than a year)! Kaden is a HUGE fan. He loves to run from one side to the other and his favorite place to sit is in the captains’ chair. I am sure Brad and Kaden will be fighting over who gets to drive the boat!
We can’t wait to have many of you over this summer to visit. Please know everyone is welcome and we would love your company!
